    Pros +

    • Its nearby the city centre with a bus connection to other parts of the city. A lot of restaurants that open until very late too.
    • The location was perfect for our needs. It really is a value for money hotel that included breakfast with a lot to choose from including Japanese and Western food selections and a variety of drinks (not just coffee, tea or milk)
    • Really great location right near a major shopping arcade and many restaurants. While it’s a bit of a walk to Sendai station, it’s a really good walk, and there’s a subway station quite close as well. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the twin room I booked as Japanese hotel rooms are often quite small, so we had plenty of room. I like the classic/retro feel of the decor a lot and the staff were friendly.

    Cons -

    • The hotel is located near a red light district, i got harassed by touts while going out and back. The room is small for a business hotel, i can barely fit my laptop on the provided table, I got bigger room in tokyo than this. And more importantly, the customer service is terrible, they reject all date changes and ignored all my messages after i realised I’ve left something in my room after checking out and inquired them. Honestly there are other business hotels in this area with similar price point, I would look for another one next time.
    • You can tell from the room that it is a relatively old hotel, but generally a comfortable stay.
    • It seems to be near a red light district that has loud music at night. I was worried it would be difficult to sleep, but luckily it wasn’t after all - it may bother some people though.

The staff was friendly and you got free water bottles every day. The location was also really central.

The room was old and dirty looking. Non smoking room but everything was yellow with burn holes in the carpet. The bathroom had mold in it and smelled not nice. The beds were like cardboard. The airconditioning is chosen by the hotel and can't be set lower, the last night was like a sauna and unbearable. The windows do not open so it was not possible to get so fresh air in or cool down the room. Please save yourself the hassle and don't go here.

The location is very good. The breakfast is available for 1000 JPY/day and it really deserves. The staff were very cooperative. There is also a luggage storage service after checkout which is very helpful if you have something to do before travelling.

    The room is very narrow.

The location was great, with an easy access to Sendai train station and the city centre. The staff was friendly, and everything we could have needed was provided (towels, water bottles, vending machine,...)

It was a bit annoying that the room main light was automatically switched on when we activated the electricity for the room, and the bed was not the most comfortable.

Lots of things to rent out including DVD Players. The hotel looks good. If that is your thing you have a direct access to Starbucks next door. The TV can easily be moved to different positions. You get two bottles of free water for every day that you skip room cleaning. I know this system from Hotel Crown Hills by the same company.

There is close to no air in the room. It's like a coffin. The AC is useless Even if you rent out tools to open the windows the air doesn't really get better. I can't imagine how bad it must be in Summer. The hotel staff worker on the day of Check in was very unfriendly and cold. She's not Japanese, I'm not sure from which country, but this worker is no good.

Location, convenience, size of room, size of bathroom, price. Ease of use.

Mattress was hard and chair cushions in the room seam to have worn out. Lack of plug sockets in the room. Position of TV was strange in relation to bed. (This is more surprise than didn’t like)

The location was very good, being near the train station as well as close to the night life.

The breakfast was lacking a bit, especially more fruits and vegetables would have been nice.

    7AlpinPosted on: 9-21-2023

The location is so strategic, near the lively area of Kokubuncho and all the recommended Sendai restaurants.

I could hear the neighbor snoring loudly on one night. This means the walls must be thin and there is not enough soundproof for privacy and comfort. The rest is okay.

    7MadhuraPosted on: 5-23-2023

Good location.. next to an area with lots of restaurants and at walking distance from train station and castle. Sufficient breakfast selection. Lot of additional amnesties available at the lobby.

Shelves were rather dusty, and seems that cleaning done only if you specifically ask during the stay. Staff though very helpful, not always English speaking. It would be really nice if breakfast items are labelled in English.
